Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Rabissi is a wine with great structure. It is a Sunday wine, for moments to remember, for festivities. Five years, a lot of technique, passion and love that resurface in perfumes, colors and aromas of an excellent wine.

A wine that can be drunk and then remembered because the passion and love that the Rabissi family puts into their Brunello do not go unnoticed.

The grapes are harvested in the second half of September, the bunches selected and the vines well groomed. The harvest is done in boxes, this guarantees the best conservation of grapes. The fermentation is done with the peelings in contact with the must, at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C. Then the wine rests in steel tanks and after this period it stays in oak tonneaux for 2 years. In the end, as the disciplinary says, after the bottling the wine rests again for 4 months at least.

Organoleptic characteristics

Brunello di Montalcino Rabissi is the older brother of Rosso di Montalcino Rabissi. Brunello visually stands out for a ruby red colour with intense garnet reflections. Notes of ripe fruit are evident at the nose as well as jams. Spicy and toasted notes follow. On the gustatory analysis it is warm, intense and persistent, pleasantly tannic with elegant notes and a good structure.

What to combine it with and how to taste it

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Rabissi is an important wine, we advise you to serve it at a temperature of 18-20° C, taking care to transfer it in a decanter at least half an hour before the service. The most suitable glass is certainly a not too wild tulipe which closes towards the end, in order to concentrate the wine in the centre of the mouth and do not over spray. One for all: the Riedel vinum Brunello di Montalcino.

We advise you to pair the Brunello di Montalcino with the classical meats of Tuscan tradition: red grilled meats, but also with important seasoned cheeses, like a raw milk pecorino. And in the end all game dishes with intense flavors that enhance this fantastic wine.
